The picturesque, blue-domed buildings, the crystal-clear waters, and the enchanting sunsets – it’s all encapsulated within these four walls in the heart of Brisbane. If you’ve ever dreamed of having a destination wedding without the hassle of international travel, Santorini Restaurant is your dream come true! It is a family business founded by George Papaioannou, named after the stunning Santorini Island in Greece, where he spent many wonderful years visiting his grandparents.
First Impressions
When you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a sight that will leave you speechless – tables adorned with crisp white linen and sparkling glassware. It exudes purity and simplicity, allowing your décor and personal touches to shine. Whether you’re dreaming of a stand-up cocktail style event or an elegant and opulent affair, Santorini Restaurant can be transformed into anything you can imagine. We were a part of a Wedding showcase in July this year at Santorini and chose white, blue and fuchsia as our colour scheme. It looked absolutely fantastic! Speaking of photos – the restaurant is also in close proximity to New Farm Park where you can settle in amongst the beautiful old fig trees, the stunning rose gardens and let’s not forget the iconic rotunda! It makes the perfect backdrop for your Wedding Day photo’s. In 2024 we will be launching our brand-new Elopement and Micro Wedding packages.
